2023: Northern President Will Continue To Fuel Biafra, Oduduwa Nations Agitations – Ohaneze Ndigbo

Northern Governors have been advised by Ohanaeze Ndigbo not to insist on producing President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor in 2023.

Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the group’s Secretary-General, warned that another northern president will exacerbate the push for the Oduduwa Republic and Biafra nations.

Isiguzoro accused the northern governors of being proponents of Nigeria’s disintegration in a statement he signed.

“Attempts to jettison the rotational presidency in 2023, and the North insisting on succeeding President Muhammadu Buhari, will be unfavorable and weaknesses towards sustaining the country’s unity and stability, as it will favor the declarations of Oduduwa and Biafra nations by 2024,” the statement reads.

“Northern Governors’ miscalculation on 2023 and drifting on blind excitements of opposing the viewpoints of southern Governors had positioned the Northern Governors as proponents of Nigeria’s disintegration.”

“If another Northerner replaces President Buhari in 2023, he or she may not be able to supervise the country’s affairs, as Nigeria may face savage challenges from secessionist groups with full support from ethnic groups as a result of a revolt against the North’s injustice and abuses.

“In the event of any conspiracy against the 2023 Igbo Presidency, Ndigbo may join with IPOB to declare for Biafra restoration. Northern Governors should apologize to Nigerians for these subversive and provocative responses to the 2023 Southern Presidency or face the consequences of being unable to read the mood of the nation, which favors the southern presidency of the Igbo bloc.”
