1. Eggs that are raw or undercooked

Raw eggs often contain hazardous bacteria that will make you feel uneasy throughout your pregnancy and can possibly cause food poisoning. Diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, a weakened immune system, and a high temperature are all possible side effects.

2. Fruits and vegetables that haven’t been washed

It’s not a good idea to eat fruits without washing them properly during pregnancy because some fruits are grown with fertilizers that could be hazardous to you. Rinse the fruits thoroughly with clean water, peel off the first layers if feasible, and cook the vegetables as directed. Restaurant-provided vegetable juices may also contain bacteria; avoid canned vegetables in favor of fresh vegetables.

3. Too Much Caffeine

Caffeine-containing meals should be avoided; too much caffeine can raise your chances of miscarriage.
During pregnancy, avoid diet soda, alcohol, and soft drinks in favor of decaffeinated beverages.
Caffeine has been linked to neonatal fatalities in several studies. Caffeine can also be present in tea and energy drinks.

4. Sugary Consumption

Sugary foods, such as iced cakes, biscuits, candies, ice cream, chocolates, and sweetened beverages, should be avoided. Choose sugar-free fruits and vegetables such as grapefruits, pear, apple, and dates.
Preterm labor, excessive weight gain, gestational diabetes, and the risk of metabolic syndrome in newborns are all increased by sugar.

5. Foods that are high in fat

To reduce your risk of heart disease or obesity, avoid hydrogenated fats, fast food snacks, margarine, cookies, butter, frozen pizza, and fried foods.
