The singer through his lawyers slammed the ex label, whose label name remained anonymous, with a N200million lawsuit for defaming his character while he was illegally arrested .

Last week, a video showing the singer been handcuffed with his hands behind his backs became viral. It was reported that he was arrested for “defrauding his label and show promoters”.

It seems all that was framed as the singer through his lawsuit has debunked the accusation.

According to his lawyers, the arrest was illegal and was as a result of the actions of two men identified as Mr. Temple and Precious Egamasi to surreptitiously distort facts and deceive the general public in respect to his relationship and termination with his former label.

According to the details on the lawsuit, Mr Temple had already apologized for releasing the video behind close door, but his lawyers what him to apoligise to the singer publicly and to refrain from defaming the singer.
