Bovi celebrates Davido as he marks 10 years in the industry by reflecting on his early music days

Popular Nigeria comedian and actor, Bovi Ugboma, has joined the many celebrities facilitating with popular Nigeria music star, Davido as he clocks 10 years in the Nigeria music industry.

The comedian while celebrating the ace artiste took to time to reflect on his upcoming days ash he recalls the roughy patches the artiste went through to become who he is today.

There is no doubt that Davido has achieved quite a lot in his 10 years of being on stage. The “Back When” singer has grown to become one of the most influential and highly sought after singer in Nigeria and diaspora.

With a decade of delighting our screen with his hit tracks, many celebrities and fans  took time out to celebrate his musical feat and one of them was Bovi who shared an interesting story about the star’s early days.

Bovi revealed that the singer was once sabotage at an event in Koko Lounge which was the biggest comedy club back then. Davido was set to perform that night unknowingly that his big night would be ruined.

According to Bovi, Koko Lounge was the biggest comedy nights and Wednesday was when the biggest event was always held. Davido was slated to perform that day and when he climbed the stage there was a lot of frenzy as many had been looking forward to his performance. Unknowingly, Davido had forgotten to greet the Disc Jockey who mistook his negligence as pride and he decided to get back at him by refusing to play his song. This made the audience angry as Davido pleaded profusely for the DJ to forgive him and allow him entertain his audience. Pretending to have forgiven the music star, the DJ started playing his songs only for him to unplug his set again and refuse to play. This brought the event to an abrupt end.
