Big Brother Naija “Lockdown” star and actress, Erica Nlewedim, has revealed that her time in the reality show was like living in prison.
Erica who was one of the most popular housemate was disqualified after getting three red strikes from Biggie. The actress had engaged in a scuffle with her fellow housemate and former bff, Laycon.
Her disqualification skyrocketed her into fame and Gaines her lots of supporters as many felt bad for her disqualification.
During her recent interview with a podcast host, the actress likened her stay in the house to that of been imprisoned.
“I said what I said”
“It is not easy to be constantly conscious of cameras Everytime. Obviously, one knows that cameras are there but one can’t be acting or trying to be on one’s beat behaviour all the time. It is very stressful. One can do it for the first two weeks but at some point, one would get tired of thing. Some people changed but I was just the same. This is how I am. I show myself the way I am. Sometimes, I felt I shouldn’t have shown a particular person a particular side of me but I consoled myself with the thought that we would soon be out of there. I protect myself in the real world but in that world (BBN), it was more like a prison”.
Erica recently reacted to an old viral video of non fans rejoicing following her disqualification from the show.
The video showed some non fans dancing and jubiliating over her disqualification from the show following her altercation with fellow housemate, Laycon, which earned her a third strike.
The actress who was just seeing the video blasted those who rejoices over her downfall as she claimed she won the show.
“Only a star will bring such strong emotions from people, you’ll feel my presence before you even see me physically. I’m covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. Evil cant touch me!
Erica Nlewedim won, get used to it. And i will keep winning cos my God is bigger than your devil. Throw another party on 9th of June. I even unblocked the haters cos you need to see me when I win! You will be playing your cry soundtrack at your next party, with only tissue on the menu”.
