Family crushed to death by truck in Ondo state

Three members of a family have been crushed to death by a truck along Anure Idanre road, in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State.

The deceased, all males, were said to be riding on a motorcycle when the truck rammed into them. They all died on the spot.

Triggered by the incident, angry okada riders and residents in the area set the truck ablaze.

Spokesman for the Info Federal Road Safety Corps, Abiola Fadumo, who confirmed the accident to The Nation said the presence of policemen helped calmed the situation.
