Juliana Olayode opens up on she she quits acting

Nollywood actress and author, Juliana Okayode a.k.a Toyo Baby, has revealed the reason why she left the movie industry.

The former ‘Jenifa Diary’ cast disclosed this during a recent interview. She stated that shooting romantic scenes made her abandon her passion for acting.

Juliana revealed that she would never kiss any actor as she only wants to kiss her husband. She added that she is never at ease shooting kissing scenes as the Producers always calls for a reshot of the scenes at different angles in order to get the perfect shot.

The proud ambassador of Christ stated that she is not against such scenes in movies, but she has made the personal decision not to engage in such again.

Since, leaving the industry, Juliana has been a strong advocator of Christ as she daily preaches to her fans on the need to accept Christ.

The actress rose to fame after appearing in Funke Akindele popular TV series “Jenifa Diaries” where she played the role of Funke’s cousin, Toyosi aka Toyo Baby as Jenifa fondly called her. She allegedly left the sitcom after  her misunderstanding with Funke Akindele over low payment.

Since leaving the show, Juliana has appeared in less movies.
