Mason Mount Reacts To Making 30-Man Shortlist For 2021 Ballon D’Or

Mason Mount, a Chelsea midfielder, said it was an honor to be named to the Ballon d’Or shortlist of 30.
Mount has helped the Blues win the Champions League in the last six months. The 22-year-old also had a role in England’s first major event final since the 1966 World Cup.
Mount is now regarded as one of the best players in the current season.
“It was unique. It’s definitely a dream to see that and be among those names.”
“When you work hard for a long time and dedicate yourself to something like that, it demonstrates that everything pays off.”
“This is only the beginning; it does not end here,” Mount told reporters before of England’s World Cup qualifier against Hungary on Tuesday.
Mount, though, is not expecting to win the trophy, with Argentina’s Lionel Messi the favorite to win it for the seventh time after leading the country to Copa America triumph.
