EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nonye Soludo, the wife of Anambra State Governor-elect Charles Soludo, is set to become the state’s new first lady.

Mrs Soludo accompanied her husband on the All Progressives Grand Alliance’s campaign trail, promising to empower women and children across the state.

Born on July 31, 1970, the 51-year-old hails from Aguata LGA of Anambra State, just like her husband.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (1991-1995) and a master’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of Westminster, UK (2006).

Mrs Soludo has a couple of business interests. She is the founder and chief executive officer of Healthy Living Foods Ltd based in the UK.

She is also the managing director of a real estate company Charles Frances Properties in London.

Her union with Soludo has produced six children – two girls and four boys.

She loves to cook and exercise.

Recall that Charles Chukwuma Soludo, was declared the winner of the Anambra governorship election.

The former Central Bank governor was declared the winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Soludo’s victory was announced by the Returning Officer of the Anambra governorship election, Florence Obi.

Soludo emerged winner with 112,229 votes to defeat Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party, who got 53,807 votes, and Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress who got 43,285 votes. Senator Ifeanyi Ubah of the Young Progressive Party polled 21,261 votes came fourth.
