Nasarawa University Community Invaded By Gunmen, Abducts Two students, Others



Unknown gunmen, suspected of being kidnappers, kidnapped two students from the Federal University of Lafia in Nasarawa State.

The assailants invaded the university’s host community on Saturday night, according to what we’ve learned.


According to reports, the attackers rushed the area with sophisticated weaponry, shooting intermittently before hauling the victims away to an unknown location.

During the attack, the gunmen allegedly kidnapped one Hon. Yahaya Adams from the village, according to sources.


Ramhan Nansel, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the event when reached by our correspondent.

According to him, the command has contacted school administration and has begun an investigation into the attack.

“We have met with the institution’s public relations officer, PRO, and an investigation is currently underway,” he stated.
