Ogun State Police Command arrest two for snatching motorcycles

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested two criminal for stealing motorcycles.
The robbers have allegedly being stealing motorcycles around Sango Ota axis.
According to reports, the 3 Armed bandits were attacking their latest prey before they met their Waterloo. Though they tried to flee the scene of the incidence, the police caught up with them and was able to arrest two of them while the other escaped .
In a statement released by the spokeperson of the State Police Command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, stated that the two suspects named, Abiodun Ogundeke m’ 23years and Opeyemi Olatubosun m’ 22yrs were arrested following a distress call received at Sango divisonal headquarters at about 8pm that one Adesoji David, a motorcyclist was being attached by armed hoodlums at Joju area of Sango Ota.
The statement read:
“Upon the distress call, the DPO Sango Ota, CSP Godwin Idehai quickly mobilized his men and moved to the scene. On sighting the policemen, the suspects, who had already snatched the victim’s Bajaj motorcycle took to flight but were hotly chased and two amongst them were arrested, while other one escaped.
Recoverd from them are; one locally made pistol, one live cartridge one extended cartridge and the snatched motorcycle”.
Further speaking, Opeyemi added that the State Commissioner of Police, CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for discreet investigation. He also directed the the third member of the gang who fled the scene should be haunted and made to face the law.
