Police Arrest Eight Armed Robbery Suspects

Eight alleged armed robbers have been apprehended by the Nasarawa Police Command.
A group led by Shamsu Uman allegedly attacked a residence in the Angwan Jarmi district of the state’s Keffi Local Government Area.
ASP Ramhan Nansel, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer, stated this to The PUNCH on Sunday in Lafia.
According to the PUNCH, the police spokesman revealed that the suspected armed robbers who attacked the house took away domestic belongings as well as a large sum of money.
“When police officers from the Angwan Lambu Division in Keffi LGA received the information, they initiated a manhunt for the criminal elements and were able to apprehend roughly eight suspected armed robbers.
As a result, one HP laptop computer, one 32-inch Startimes television, four sophisticated handsets of various brands, jewelry, one MP3 player, clippers, and N223,950 in cash were collected as exhibits from the suspects, he added.
