Presidency: Tinubu’ll win 2023, guber candidate boasts

The All Progressive Congress (APC), Abia state chapter, has predicted that his party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, would emerge victorious after the conduct of February 25,2023 polls.

Abia APC governorship candidate, High Chief Ikechi Emenike, disclosed this while unveiling his campaign manifesto to journalists in his Umuahia North local government area country home.

He noted that the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, towered above frontline presidential candidates that were former governors given his invaluable contributions in enhancing the internally generated revenue of Lagos state.

He revealed that Tinubu’s influence was spread across the 36 states of the federation including the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja which he said would count in his favour unlike other close rivals.

Emenike further noted that a critical look at the politicians, the former governor of Lagos has made men in his successful political career that would galvanise support for him.

He stated that the former senator remained a candidate to beat in the forthcoming presidential election. 

On his plans for Abia, the APC gubernatorial candidate said his mission was to rescue and develop Abia, adding that it was a public knowledge that the state was in a deplorable condition and therefore needed a technocrat, a well researched blueprint, to turn around the fortunes of the state.

He promised to make good use of security votes for the purpose it is meant to provide security to the state, promising to build industrial park in local government areas.

On financial autonomy of local government, High Chief Emenike promised that he would not tamper with local government allocation but would make it public whatever that is due for each local government in Abia state.

Earlier, the Abia APC chairman, Dr Kingsley Ononogbu, said his party’s governorship candidate, was over prepared to rescue and develop Abia through a well articulated programme of action.

Ononogbu called on Abia citizens to support the APC governorship candidate and other candidates in their quest to win 2023 general elections.
