President Buhari holds Security Meetings with Service Chiefs for the third time in a row

Nigeria President, President Muhammadu Buhari, has assembled another emergency meeting with the National Security Council following the security challenges the country has been facing.

Following the high rate in abduction, kidnapping and death, it is not surprising that the President is summoning another meeting for the third time this week.

The president presided over the meeting which held today, May 11 at the State House, Abuja.

Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, boss Mustapha, Chief of Staff tibtgye President, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, Minister of Defence, Major-General Bashir Magashi(Rtd), and the National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno (Rtd) were some of those in attendance.

Also present was the Chief of Defence, General Lucky Irabor; Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Ishaka Amoo and Acting Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba.
