Reiss Ready To Launch Children’s Wear



On October 20, premium brand Reiss will present its first children’s wear line.

For autumn/winter 2021, the first Reiss Children collection will be available for girls and boys aged four to nine.


For spring/summer 2022, the size range will be increased to include children as young as 12 years old.

The collection will include 140 designs for both men and women, designed by Reiss’ in-house team to be “quintessentially Reiss,” with the same dedication to design, craftsmanship, and detail seen in the women’s and men’s lines.


According to Reiss, the range is “designed for modern children,” as children are individuals with their own sense of style.

It also includes hallmarks from the adult collections, such as the fitted overcoat, suede jacket, and elegant knitwear.


Jersey, woven tops, shirts, tailoring, denim, outerwear, leather, shearling, and accessories round out the launch collection.

“This is the first time Reiss has designed for children,” said Una Joyce, womenswear director at Reiss, in a statement. “We listened to our consumers and the youngsters around us to help create this collection.”


Reiss expands its category with the introduction of children’s wear for girls and boys aged four to nine.

The children’s wear collection is led by stretch jeans, puffer jackets, and T-shirts, as well as earthy and neutral-toned leisurewear, fitted jackets, chunky knits, and exquisite dresses.


T-shirts start at 12 pounds, gowns start at 50 pounds, and coats start at 80 pounds.
The most expensive item is a 358-pound shearling aviator jacket.

“We learnt that, just like adults, children desire a modern, effortless wardrobe,” said Alex Field, menswear director at Reiss.
Then we designed each piece to look and feel like a Reiss piece.”


The Reiss Children collection will be available exclusively online at in the autumn/winter of 2021, alongside chosen partners such as Next and John Lewis.

While Selfridges will sell the collection online and in its Manchester and Birmingham stores in the United Kingdom, American retailer Nordstrom will sell the collection online and in its New York City store beginning October 20.


Children’s wear is Reiss’s most recent category development; in September, it debuted its first small womenswear collection, with 31 pieces for autumn/winter 2021, and in May, it debuted a golf collection inspired by Tiger Woods’ course style.
