Reno Omokri, in his statement on Twitter, addressed a letter that has been circulating on social media, written by the deputy senator (Ike Ekweremadu) informing the UK government of the intention of an organ donation before his arrest. Reno had said that merely reading the letter, the case is not organ trafficking since the deputy senator had informed the UK of an organ donation. But he gave exceptions that it would be the case if the supposed child was underaged and the parents did not consent to the trip.
