Singer, Vector shuts down reports of mocking Pastor Adeboye over son’s death

Nigeria artiste, Ogunmefun Olanrewaju popularly known as Vector the rapper, has denied shading Pastor Enoch Adeboye over the death of his son in his latest tweet.

The singer had earlier made a shading teeet hours after the news of Dare Adeboye’s death hit the net.

He tweeted:

His insensitive tweet at such time generated mixed reactions, as lots of Nigerians dragged him filthily on the micro blogging platform. Many assumed he was making jest of the clergyman and called him out.

Following the backlash, the rapper addressed his controversial tweet as he denied making fun of his predicament.

He wrote:

Oh don’t get this wrong…. It’s not about church. It’s about a performance I remembered”.

Many Nigerians didnot believe he wasn’t shading the family as they took to his comment section to keep dragging him.

But a fan of his came to his defense as he shared a previous tweet of him cautioning artistes to stop asking people in their concert to make a noise if they want to see next year. He called them a Religious scam for doing so.

His previous tweets read:

As a follow up tweet, the artiste blasted those who mis interpreted his tweet as he called them a fool for thinking he would shade the Adeboyes.

If you really believe I Ogunmefun Olanrewaju will mock pastor Adeboye because he lost his son, you are a fool”.
