Responsibilities
- Ingredient Preparation and Cooking: Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and menu guidelines.
- Food Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Meal Preparation Assistance: Help with meal prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing sauces and marinating meats.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Work Area Maintenance: Keep a clean and organized workspace.
- Policy Adherence: Follow all restaurant policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Experience: Prior experience as a Sous Chef, CDP or similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge: Understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
- Food Safety: Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Multitasking: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on detail and ability to accurately follow recipes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
