“What is the point of getting divorced in your 60s /70s”, Uti Nwachukwu says as he reacts to Gates divorce

Nigeria presenter, actor and model, Uti Nwachukwu, has reacted to the divorce story if Microsoft founder, Bill Gates and Melinda Gates.

Social media went agog following a joint statement from the couple who announced their divorce via their joint Twitter page after 27 years of marriage.

According to the actor, he doesn’t see any reason why couples in their old age should be seeking separation.

The entertainer took to his Twitter page , to air his opinion as he was inquisitive to know why elderly couple would be seeking divorce at their age rather than working things out.

He also went on to question the state of many marriages today, as he believes not all couples are happily married. He further went to question if marriage is not just a scam. He concluded by saying even even Jesus didnot marry.

He wrote:

Whats the point of getting divorced in ur 60s/79s… I just don’t get it!!!

At that age what could possibly be the problem that cannot be resolved?

This marriage thing no be scam so? How many are truly happily married

Anyway Jesus sef no even marry so what am I even saying”.

Bill Gates and Melinda Gates announce divorce after 27years of marriage

Bill Gates who is aged 65 and his wife who is 56, have filed for dissolution of their marriage at a County court in Washington. According to the papers filed, the couple have been separated for a while now and have cited irretrievably broken as their reason for divorcing.

The estranged couple revealed that they would continue to work together to help people through their foundation “Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’ which focuses on gender equality, health, education and another deteriorating areas.
